To open a Health Savings Account (HSA), an individual must be covered by a High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP). An HDHP generally costs less than what traditional healthcare coverage costs, so the money that you save on insurance can be put into your HSA.

Enroll in eStatements through SEFCU Mobile Banking

Follow these simple instructions below.


  1. Sign into the  Mobile app and tap  the menu next to “Accounts” on your account screen.
  2. Click on “eStatements.”
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the agreement and disclosure page and click “Submit.”

SEFCU’s Institute for Financial Well-Being Jumps into Summer

Since its inception, SEFCU’s Institute for Financial Well-Being has provided financial education opportunities for youth each summer, educating more than 1,500 students since 2016 about saving, budgeting, understanding paychecks, and other financial topics.
