Scholarships

SEFCU’s commitment to education starts with our younger members. In 2013 the credit union presented $54,000 in scholarships to SEFCU members in the Capital Region, Binghamton, Buffalo, and Syracuse to help alleviate some of the financial burden higher education places on families.

In 2014, SEFCU will continue this commitment by offering the scholarship opportunities listed below.

Who is eligible:

• SEFCU members who are seniors* in high school
• Students planning to attend an accredited two- or four-year college* who are SEFCU members
• Students returning to Rensselaer, Skidmore, the University at Albany, or the University at Buffalo for their sophomore, junior, or senior year who are SEFCU members.
