eFitness: An Online Financial Fitness Program

Take part in a six week, e-mail based financial education program.


How does it work?

The eFitness Challenge is a 6-week, e-mail-based, confidential, financial improvement program consisting of three modules. E-mails will be sent to you at the beginning of each module with instructions and tips to get you started down the path towards improving your financial health.

Each module will consist of a Webcast, attachments, and links that you can view and complete on your own time and at your own pace. By the end of the challenge, you will have created a more effective budget, learned tips for building your credit score and much, much more. There will even be a grand prize drawing for everyone who completes all three modules and the follow-up survey.

Basics of Budgeting - Weeks 3 & 4 

This module assists with learning budget preparation and sticking to it. We will discuss why we need to budget, the steps for developing a plan, and tips for maintaining a budget. It also provides basic concepts for saving money to maximize budgeted dollars.

You'll leave with:
* A manageable personalized budget
* Savings strategies you can implement immediately
* A clearer picture of your chosen benefits and elected contributions

Managing Your Credit - Weeks 5 & 6 

 Module #3 covers the basics of credit, such as who reports your payment information, understanding your credit score, and good credit vs. bad credit. You will also learn simple strategies to help repair bad credit and effective ways to build credit.

You'll leave with:
* Copies of your credit report from each of the bureaus
* A plan to improve your credit score
* A plan to reduce levels of debt
