Member Vote Determines How $30,000 is Distributed!

Love Blooms graphic

The flowers and trees aren't the only thing blooming this spring - so is the love our members demonstrated through their participation in a recent vote to determine how funds were distributed to non-profits. Members were given the opportunity to vote for one of three non-profit organizations in each region. For each region, the non-profit with the most votes received $2,500, the second highest $1,500, and the third $1,000 for a total of $20,000.

Plus, randomly selected members using a Video Teller Machine (VTM) last month were surprised with a chance to select one of those organizations to receive a bonus $100 for an additional $5,000 total. Additionally five employees were surprised with the opportunity to select one of the non-profits to receive an extra $1,000.

At the end of the week, $30,000 was donated to 12 non-profit organizations throughout the Capital Region, Syracuse, Binghamton, and Buffalo.
