Using Samsung Pay

You can use Samsung Pay with any compatible Samsung device in almost every store that accepts swipe or tap payments.

To pay with your SEFCU Mastercard®:

  1. Open the Samsung Pay app and verify your fingerprint or enter your backup Personal Identification Number (PIN).
  2. Select your SEFCU credit or debit card.
  3. Place your device about a half inch over the payment terminal.
  4. If necessary, complete your purchase on the terminal. For example, if you choose “Debit,” you will still need to enter the PIN specific to your SEFCU debit card.

If the terminal does not currently accept contactless Samsung Pay payments, you will need to pay by swiping or inserting your SEFCU Mastercard in the payment terminal.

Updating new card information:

If you receive a reissued card and need to update the expiration date and security code, delete and then add the new card information by following the instructions here.

Delete a card:

  1. Open the Samsung Pay app.
  2. Touch the card you want to delete.
  3. Select “More” then select “Delete Card.”
  4. Tap “Delete.”
  5. Verify your fingerprint or enter your backup PIN to confirm deletion.

Get help if your Samsung device is lost or stolen:

Your stored payment information is not accessible without your verified fingerprint or backup PIN. You can remotely lock or delete registered cards through Samsung's Find My Mobile service.

If you find your device, simply verify your fingerprint or enter your backup PIN to continue using your registered cards.
