Set Up Samsung Pay

Get Started:

You can start using Samsung Pay as soon as you register a credit or debit card to any of the latest Samsung devices. Here's what you need:
  • Samsung Galaxy S6, S6 Edge, S6 Edge+, S6 Active, or Note5
  • SEFCU Mastercard® credit and/or debit card

To set up Samsung Pay, open the Pay application by swiping up on your device's screen or selecting the icon and follow the steps below.

Add a new card using your device's camera

  1. If you don't have any existing cards, tap “Add a credit card or debit card.” If you have existing cards, tap “Add.”
  2. Align your SEFCU Mastercard inside the frame to automatically detect the card number and expiration date. You can also enter your SEFCU Mastercard information manually.
  3. Enter the security code and any other information that doesn't automatically appear.
  4. Tap “Next.”
  5. Agree to the Terms & Conditions.
  6. Select a method (text, e-mail, or phone call) to authenticate your identity using a one-time password.
  7. Enter the one-time password and tap “Submit.”
  8. Using your finger or a stylus, enter your signature and tap “Save.” Tap “Retry” to attempt your signature again.
  9. Tap “Done” to complete the setup process.

After the card is registered to Samsung Pay, it will be verified by Mastercard and SEFCU. On average, verification will take approximately five to ten minutes. You will not be able to use your SEFCU Mastercard through Samsung Pay until it has been verified.

Upon successfully adding a SEFCU card to Samsung Pay, you will receive a notice from SEFCU confirming your registration. If you receive this notice and did not set up a Mobile Wallet, visit any branch or contact the Member Solutions Center at 800-727-3328.

Whether you're at the local convenience store, the neighborhood florist, or your favorite boutique, you can use Samsung Pay at almost all your preferred places that accept swipe or tap payments.
