SEFCU top dog photo contest
 We know that you love your dog, that’s why we’re asking you to send us a picture of your pooch in your SEFCU-financed vehicle.
E-mail a photo of your dog in your vehicle to sefcupictures@sefcu.com (file must be smaller than 2mb) by April 15 for your chance to win*! Photos will be posted within one to two business days.
Please include your name, contact number, and your dog’s name in the e-mail. Beginning April 1, pictures will be posted on sefcu.com. Voting will be held from April 16 - April 30, so make sure to tell your friends to vote for your dog!
Prizes: The top dog will receive a $500 SEFCU Visa® gift card. Second prize is a $250 SEFCU Visa® gift card. Third prize is a $150 PetSmart® gift card.

Help “Change” the World
 In these tough economic times, charity work is more important than ever. You can help make a difference in your community without breaking the bank by donating your spare change to the SEFCU Foundation’s “Change the World” fundraiser. This April, we will be accepting loose change at all SEFCU branches to benefit the SEFCU Foundation, which assists children’s organizations wherever SEFCU operates. So get a jump start on your spring cleaning and give your spare change to a great cause. Look for the specially marked containers in all branches!
April is National Volunteer Month
In honor of National Volunteer month, SEFCU has many events and opportunities planned that provide a wonderful opportunity for us all to "get involved." If you are interested in helping at any of these events, please e-mail us at volunteer@sefcu.com. Space is limited so volunteers for a particular event will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis.
April 9 - Ronald McDonald House - Help cook and serve dinner to the residents of Ronald McDonald House in Albany.
April 14 - Hope House vs. SEFCU - Enjoy a practice pickup game of softball with the children of Hope House. The event will be at 3:30 p.m. at the University at Albany.
April 19 - Climb Albany - Join the One Commerce branch as they walk the One Commerce Plaza stairs as many times as possible to benefit the American Lung Association. The SEFCU Foundation will donate your climbing registration fee!
April 22 - Mechanicville Area Community Service Center - Join the Clifton Park branch as they serve dinner to local residents.
April 25 - Unity House - Volunteer Service Day from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Help with spring clean up, clean the playground, and plant flowers.
April 26 - American Heart Association - The Southern Tier will be participating in the annual Heart Walk!
April 27 - Capital City Rescue Mission - The State Street and South Pearl branches will be serving a hot meal to those in need at the Capital City Rescue Mission.
