Looking for more from your debit and credit cards? Look no further because now you can earn Preferred Points with both* of your SEFCU Cards! Cardholders are automatically enrolled in the program at no charge and points earned on both cards are combined to form one balance, so Preferred Points add up faster than ever! Accumulate points with every purchase you make, including automatic bill payments!

Earn Points
Earn points at two different rates with your SEFCU Check Card. Earn 1 point for every $2 spent on signature validated transactions and monthly bill payments, or 1 point for every $5 spent when validating your identity with your Personal Identification Number (PIN), or for small purchases that don’t require identity confirmation, such as fast food purchases. All purchases made with your credit card earn 1 point for every $1 spent.

Redeem Points
Redeem points for freebies 24 hours a day online or over the phone. Click on the Preferred Points button on SEFCU OnLine to access the Preferred Points site. If you don’t have SEFCU OnLine, or prefer to use the phone for point redemptions, you can reach the Preferred Points Center via the Member Solutions Center menu. The Preferred Points Center is open from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 midnight, seven days a week, and an interactive voice response system can help with redemptions and balance inquiries when a representative can not be reached.

When verifying account information, online or by phone, please be sure to verify using the primary account holder’s information.

Why wait? Start shopping today and watch you Preferred Points grow!

* Business Checking accounts (S66) are not eligible for the program
