To fulfill the SEFCU's mission, we grant funds to non-profit organizations for projects and special events that directly benefit indviduals and families in need. To be eligible for assistance, your organization must:
- Qualify under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code as a non-profit organization (or operate under the fiscal responsibility of an organization that does)
- Assist residents within the communities that SEFCU serves
- Represent programs that directly benefit children and families
- Request funds for a specific program or effort that directly benefits children
SEFCU will not provide funding for the following:
- Purposes of lobbying or legislative support
- Individual projects
- Capital expenditures
- General operating expenses
- Advertisements in programs, journals or other publications
