SEFCU has partnered with Habitat for Humanity to build the "SEFCU House" on Odell Street. The SEFCU House will be the fifth home built on Odell Street to help low-income families achieve first-time homeownership. The construction project is part of the Capital District Habitat for Humanity’s South End Renewal Project — a community revitalization project in Albany’s South End.
“At SEFCU, we are proud to partner with Habitat for Humanity. Over the next few months, hundreds of SEFCU volunteers will answer the call to donate their time and talent to help support and build 'SEFCU House.' This project is the first of many projects that we plan to do to help in revitalizing the neighborhoods we serve by creating much-needed affordable housing,” said Michael J. Castellana, SEFCU’s President and CEO. “Additionally, by utilizing eco-friendly products and services to build SEFCU House, it reinforces our vision to change the meaning of protect some green and help save our environment,” Castellana added.
To build the "SEFCU House" and make it a home, we need your help on the following dates:
